A course that will develop sub teacher skills in obtaining a strong classroom presence; utilizing student leaders; classroom & student assessment; teacher expectations & curriculum; utilizing classroom resources such as ‘the morning agreement’ or the ‘end of day letter’ & everything else in between!
Substitute Teaching: Special Education Training & Handbook
A course training the sub teacher for a special day with special students. The sub will understand models of co-teaching & collaborative team teaching; understand their role as being flexible and willing; will know the 14 expected disabilities in special education; will see how a special ed sub day can be a retreat from mainstream education.
Your School as an Organization and the Retention of Substitute Teachers
A course that coaches school administration & teachers how to review their interactions with sub teachers; to develop relationships & ensure teacher absent coverage; a unified student discipline policy for sub day; solidifying school function with sub teacher coverage thus, the continuation of learning in the classroom.
Strongest Students: A Mental Wellness Program – Administration & Staff Training
A course that will give the school the edge to confront student mental health issues & trauma. Leaders will understand how implementing the facets of the program (including an after-school program for students with low self-esteem) confronts student well-being while constructing a wellness program in their school.
Strongest Students: A Mental Wellness Program – Student Questionnaire
A questionnaire for an identified low self-esteem student to complete, an interactive that will begin the process of identifying (and combatting low self-esteem) in a student. This will be a qualifier for admittance into the after-school program ‘Don’t Stop Believing’.
